WHAT IS THE SUPERHERO JOG-A-THON?

Get ready to lace up, cape up, and save the day! Our Superhero Jog-A-Thon transforms the track into an action-packed course where students dash through obstacles and meet real-life community heroes; firefighters, nurses, coaches, and more along the way.

  • Sponsor a Hero: Family & friends are invited to support our student heroes by making a donation, every dollar fuels their journey to success!
  • Reach Our Mission: Our goal is to raise $30,000, providing teachers with vital supplies and creating new enrichment experiences that ignite curiosity and engagement for every student.

By supporting the Superhero Jog-A-Thon, you’re not just cheering on young heroes, you’re helping fund classrooms, fuel creativity, and strengthen our entire school community. Up, up, and away to a brighter future!

HOW DO WE RAISE MONEY?

Option 1: Raise Money Online with 99Pledges

  • Find your child’s fundraising page by scanning the QR code above.
  • Share the link with family and friends via text, email, or social media.
  • We're collecting flat donations only, no need to track laps! Just choose any amount to support your hero.
  • All donations are automatically tracked, easy, secure, and totally paper-free!

Option 2: Collect Pledges with a Paper Form

  • Each student will receive a paper pledge form to record sponsors and donation amounts.

  • All checks and cash should be turned in with the pledge form by the collection deadline.

WHAT TIME DOES THIS EVENT TAKE PLACE?

Here’s when your little hero takes flight:

  • First Grade: 9:15–9:45 AM
  • Second Grade: 9:50–10:20 AM
  • TK (Transitional Kindergarten): 10:25–10:55 AM
  • Kindergarten: 11:00–11:30 AM

WHO IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE?

We absolutely welcome and encourage all families, friends, and fans to come out and cheer on your little superheroes as they conquer the Jog-A-Thon course! Your energy helps fuel their power, so bring your signs, your cheers, and your best superhero spirit! BUT, important hero rules, only Mattie-enrolled students (our official caped crusaders) can participate on the course. For safety and fairness, no additional participants or siblings will be allowed to join the run or obstacle zones. So come be part of the excitement; snap photos, wave signs, and celebrate every heroic lap from the sidelines!

WHAT SHOULD MY SUPERHERO WEAR?

On event day, it’s time to unleash your inner hero! Students are invited to bring their super strength, unstoppable energy, and of course their capes to take on the course. They’ll leap over obstacles, zoom through laps, and show the world that teamwork and perseverance are the ultimate superpowers. Don’t forget to wear comfy play clothes, closed-toed shoes, and your best superhero spirit, we’ve got a whole lot of action-packed fun ahead!

WHEN IS THE CUT OFF DATE?

The final day to qualify for awesome prizes is October 8th, so make sure your superpowers (and pledges!) are in by then! BUT WAIT... the mission isn’t over! You can keep fundraising all the way up to the day of the Jog-A-Thon. So keep sharing, keep collecting, and keep saving the day!

WHAT SUPER PRIZES AWAIT OUR HEROS?

Superhero Prize Power-Ups! Our fundraising heroes won’t just be saving the day, they’ll be earning epic rewards too! Check out how your heroic efforts can unlock awesome prizes:

  • 🍕 Top Class per Grade – Pizza Party Power! The classroom in each grade that raises the most will unlock an ultimate Pizza Party celebration! Team up with your fellow heroes and rally those pledges!
  • 🍦 Top Hero in Each Grade – Ice Cream with the Principal! The top fundraising student in each grade will earn a special treat—Ice Cream with the Principal! It’s a sweet reward for super-powered efforts!
  • 🎁 Hero Bonus Prizes – Raise & Rise! Every hero has the chance to earn individual prizes based on fundraising brackets. The more you raise, the more heroic gear and goodies you can unlock. Capes, gadgets, glory, your powers await!

WHEN WILL PRIZES BE DELIVERED?

Attention Superheroes! Once the Jog-A-Thon is complete and the final fundraising totals are in, our PTA heroes will spring into action!

We’re making it our mission to deliver all prizes within two weeks of the event’s grand finale. Whether it’s pizza party glory, ice cream with the principal, or awesome individual rewards, you can count on us to get your heroic prizes into your hands faster than Flash.
