Fundraising at Mattie-Brooks PTA
The Mattie-Brooks PTA was started in order to enrich the education environment of our students and to foster a stronger school community. Fundraising efforts are vital in making this possible.
Our major fundraising efforts are planned for the fall, namely the Color Run at Brooks Elementary and launching the Superhero Jog-a-thon at Mattie Washburn. Our major fundraising is supplimented with support from sponsors, monthly Dine and Donates at local restaurants as well as our Spring Read-a-thon which includes participation of both schools.
This isn’t all just about fun, it’s also a fundraiser!
Our Brooks Color Run is a high-energy, fun-filled event where students run, walk, or zoom through a track filled with color powder, cheers, and excitement!
We’re aiming to raise $20,000 to support Brooks Elementary with more field trips, better classroom resources, and enrichment programs that benefit all of our students.
*Fundraising to count towards prizes ends on October 1st however fundraising to support the PTA and the schools will continue through October 10th.

Get ready to lace up, cape up, and save the day!
Our Superhero Jog-A-Thon transforms the track into an action-packed course where students dash through obstacles and meet real-life community heroes—firefighters, nurses, coaches, and more along the way.
*Fundraising to count towards prizes ends on October 8th however, fundraising to support the PTA and the schools will continue through October 17th.
